Gradual readiness for harvest shows proper timing by the farmers to allow for a smooth field by field harvest.
Imagine all fields ready the same days ? That would require huge investments in machinery able to handle such load. While proper timing allows for the single most economical harvesting methods of all. At the lowest cost and lowest environment pollution possible - a manual harvest by humans!

After a few nervous moments yesterday when I almost missed meeting up with the judges I can now reveal (with much excitement) that we won a gold medal for our display. I'm really pleased for everyone involved; all the hard work has finally paid off.
Of course now that the medal's been awarded there's no stopping me; I've already got a great idea for next year!
