More than just for chocolate - Cocoa fruits on a tree. Cocoa beans are but the seeds of this beautiful and sweet large fruit. In shadow places, thus under the shadow of larger other trees grow the cocoa trees to provide cocoa beans for chocolate and delicious cocoa fruits as well.

Young cocoa tree on the way to Tukuran waterfalls. When making the Tukuran trekking tour, you will find many smaller and larger cocoa trees along the last 1-2 kms of your walk along the river up. Beware that the Lanzones tree often just next to the cocoa trees here is almost identical in size, shape and leaves than the Cocoa tree!

After taking this flower, i wonder what is look like, and yes, i can see it's ear look like rabbit ear. So cute, and somehow, it's funny how the flower shaped and look like the other living creature.
